February 15, Fly the Red Ensign — the Flag of the Real Canada Hijacked 50 Years Ago

James Alcock of the Red Ensign Society is urging all traditional Canadians to fly the Red Ensign on Sunday, February 15, the 50th anniversary of its replacement by the Maple Leaf, which looks like a corporate logo, interestingly featuring the colours of the Liberal Party.

The ’60s were a trendy time. Anything “new” was in. So, Canada’s lefty Liberal Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson just had to change the flag and bring us a “new” one. However, the change was far more sinister. The Red Ensign beautifully symbolized the Canada of its European founder/settler people: the Christian cross in the Union Jack; the Union Jack reminding us of our British laws and political system; the symbols of French, English, Irish and Scots. The sinister Pearson was about to fling open our doors to the Third World, in immigration changes announced that very year (1965). Canada was to be transformed by stealth into a Third World multicultural hodge podge. It wouldn’t do to have a flag that showed that we were founded, settled and built by people of European origin.

Today, I fly and honour the Red Ensign, the flag of the real Canada.

Wow.

I can hardly wait to celebrate the liberal, progressive and flag-changing, Lester B. Pearson's anti-heritage, anti-root, anti-British replacement of Canada's once proud and flying, 'Red Ensign' that so many young Canadians had died under in Canada's foreign wars.

I can hardly wait to be there for the Chretien/Trudeau photo-op in the current, yet-to-be-declared, Federal Election Campaign, that will have its voting day before April 7th, when Mike Duffy's Harper-destroying trial begins.

Unless, PM Stephen Harper harbours a secret, political death-wish, he has got to to take action in the next 3-weeks.

Michael --

I wanted to inform you about a special event coming up with the Rt. Hon. Jean Chrétien and Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

Sunday February 15th will mark the 50th anniversary of our Canadian Flag. Since it first flew over Parliament Hill on February 15th, 1965, the red and white Maple Leaf Flag has become one of Canada's greatest and most recognizable symbols, and proudly displays Canada as a free and democratic country that is the envy of the world.

On this historic occasion, we, the Liberal Party of Canada, wanted to ensure that it was marked by an appropriate celebration.

To mark this great occasion, we will be celebrating at the University of Toronto - Mississauga Athletic Centre. Doors open at 12:00 pm.

Please RSVP at the below link:

I hope that you will join us in celebrating one of Canada's greatest symbols!
