Supplied by EPS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><\/li><li><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/tag\/edmonton-police-service\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Edmonton police<\/a> are searching for a man suspected of shooting another man at a small New Year\u2019s Eve gathering on the city\u2019s south side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police said around 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2020, a man was shot during an altercation in a home near 106 Street and 10 Avenue in the Bearspaw neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is now recovering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Edmonton police have issued arrest warrants for Ayoub Ali, 24, who is wanted on eight charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited firearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ali is five-foot-nine and weights about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
