Poorly Screened Immigration Leads to Soaring HIV Rates in Alberta and Quebec

This is “a time when HIV is blazing through Canada at far greater rates than before. In Alberta, the number of new, reported annual infections once hovered at 200 to 300 per year, but shot up to 500 in 2023. Immigration and drug use are likely factors driving the increase. The same period saw a 120 per cent infection increase in Montreal, where immigration was the dominant cause. It makes sense; Canada is a good place to settle if one has a lifelong, expensive-to-treat viral infection — which is likely why at least 251 people, 15 per cent of attendees at a Montreal AIDS conference last year, claimed asylum.” (National Post, December 31, 2024)

HIV/AIDS POURS ACROSS THE BORDER; TRUDEAU’S LAX IMMIGRATION ENABLES THE PLAGUE

We’ve just published a crucial story on the sharp rise in HIV infections in the country.

The Counter Signal newsoom has gained access to data held by a Canadian health authority that details exactly WHERE a steep rise in HIV infections is coming from. HIV infections are increasing exponentially, with over half of new infections coming from outside the country.

You read that right – vast numbers of HIV-positive individuals are crossing the border into Canada and causing havoc in our hospitals and public health systems.

Canada’s government is asleep at the wheel, and is allowing waves of HIV to wash through our population.

What is even more shocking is that the vast majority of these infected patients are heterosexual individuals, meaning it poses a deeply troubling new risk to the majority of the Canadian public.

According to Alberta Health Services, approximately 55% of the HIV cases identified in 2023 were acquired outside of Canada. 
Dr. Caley Shukalek, a Canadian physician, said that HIV clinics are “busting at the seams,” with a shortage of experienced doctors willing to work in them.

As usual, Canadians are left waiting in lines while the federal government drives us off a healthcare cliff. We are reporting this information in the hopes that policy makers take urgent action to defend our borders from healthcare tourists. 

Canada’s hospital rooms should not be available to be available to be abused by the global public.

Canadians need to be prioritized, protected, and not be exposed to infectious diseases as a result of Trudeau’s broken border. (The Counter Signal, December 2, 2024)
