The problem is that the solution is a counterintuitive one for the social justice bureaucrats, whose entire philosophy and system of values render them unable to even begin to address the problem, let alone solve it.

Ironically, Lausanne’s best bet is to promote the four suspended officers and put them in charge of establishing and maintaining order, as they are the only authorities who clearly understand the nature of the challenge that has been created by incompatible immigration.

It’s been really fascinating to observe, over the course of two decades, how Europeans have gone from self-righteously preening about “America’s gun problem” to belatedly realizing that America never had a gun problem, America has a Third World problem that the Europeans have now brought upon themselves.

History doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes. In the Middle Ages, peasants were forbidden to hunt deer or boar. Why? Because the king wanted the venison, and because bows in the hands of peasants could just as easily kill a noble as a stag.

Fast forward a few centuries and the costume has changed: crowns have been swapped for Patagonia vests and private jets, but the script is identical. Today’s climate aristocracy scolds you for eating beef, demands you bike to work, and insists you don’t need a gun. Meanwhile, they gorge on filet mignon aboard Gulfstreams with private security in tow.

  • Hunting bans doubled as weapons bans.
  • A bow that could drop a deer could also drop a noble.
  • By outlawing hunting, kings also prevented peasants from practising archery and organizing armed resistance.
  • The message: “Farm and obey, don’t arm and rebel.”

🔫 Weapons Now

  • Today’s elites repeat the same script: “You don’t need guns.”
  • But they surround themselves with armed security and live behind gates.
  • Then as now: disarm the people, arm the guard.

✈️ Travel Privilege

  • Medieval nobles went on lavish hunting tours across preserved forests.
  • Modern nobles jet to climate conferences to tell you to bike to work.
  • Then: “These forests are protected for noble use.”
  • Now: “The planet must be saved — so no flights for you (except our private jets).”

⚖️ The Feudal Logic (Old & New)

  1. Restrict food (then: venison, now: beef).
  2. Restrict weapons (then: bows, now: guns).
  3. Restrict travel (then: forest access, now: flights & cars and our first climate lockdown, no forest for you Nova Scotia and New Brunswick).
  4. Preserve privilege (then: castles, now: gated estates and jets).

🏰 Feudalism 2.0 in Plain Sight

The peasants of old knew the truth: rules were for them, privileges for the elite. We’re relearning that lesson. The king’s forest law has become the globalist’s climate law.

The message hasn’t changed:

  • “Eat the stew, not the venison.”
  • “Lay down the bow, don’t rise up.”
  • “Stay put, don’t travel.”

The only thing that’s changed is the costume.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is slamming Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government, accusing them of broken immigration promises and exacerbating Canada’s housing, healthcare, and employment crises.

In a statement posted to X on Monday, Poilievre said a “Canada First immigration and refugee system” should only admit “the right people in the right numbers so our jobs, healthcare and housing can catch up.”

Instead, he said the Liberals’ “radical open-borders policies broke Canada’s immigration system and made all these problems worse, which isn’t fair to anyone.”

Poilievre pointed to new mid-year figures showing the government exceeding its self-imposed caps in several categories.

He said 105,000 temporary foreign worker permits have already been issued, compared to a promised cap of 82,000 for the entire year, while 302,000 people entered through the International Mobility Program in the first six months of the year, surpassing the target of 285,000 for all of 2025.

He noted the government’s permanent resident intake remains historically high, with totals on track to exceed projections.

According to Poilievre, that would amount to welcoming the equivalent of “twice the population of Guelph and the population of Abbotsford” in a single year.

The Conservative leader also cited pressures on the asylum system, claiming the backlog has risen by 2,920 per cent since 2015, with hearing wait times now stretching beyond four years.

“These new numbers mean more delays, turning Canada’s asylum process into a waiting-room of broken promises,” he said.

Poilievre tied the figures to broader economic concerns, arguing Canada now faces “the lowest youth employment since 1998” while issuing a record number of temporary worker visas.

Carney, who took office in March after the Liberals won a third straight minority, has previously pledged to bring stability to the immigration system.

The Conservative leader argued that “these results show he’s worse,” accusing the prime minister of backing “out-of-control” policies that “delivered a triple-header crisis in housing, health care, and youth unemployment.”

Poilievre said the Conservatives will table detailed proposals this fall aimed at overhauling the system and “fixing what the Liberals broke.”
