Government Covers Up Real Number of Illegals–Part 2 of an Immigration Officer’s report on Canada’s Department of Immigration

After working at  the Fort Erie Port of Entry (POE) for several years, I took  a secondment to the Removals Department at the Main Immigration Office in Niagara Falls. The Removals Officer’s responsibility was to make sure that failed  refugee claimants and deportees were returned to the country  from which they entered Canada. Since all our refugee  claimants came from the US, they were removed to Buffalo, New York.

We would receive from the  Immigration and Refugee Board the detailed files of failed  claimants. These people had already been in Canada for 3 to  5 years since they had to go through the appeals process as  well !!

Once the file was  reviewed ,we would schedule a removal date and inform the  claimant when they were to present themselves for removal.  We would try to schedule enough removals to fill the bus we  had for this purpose. We would notify USINS (United States  Immigration and Naturalization Service) when we would arrive  so that they would be able to process them back into the  US.

The “bus” we  used for removals was a 12 passenger van.  We scheduled  removals for twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The number of people that showed up depended on whether there were families involved. Some families were as large as 7 or 8 people.  Any children born in Canada did not count.  On average I’d say 40 to 50 percent of families did not show up, while 75 to 80 percent of singles did not show.  These are conservative estimates because sometimes no one  would show and we would have to cancel.  Needless to say  the majority of time spent by a removals officer was in preparing deportation orders.

In the year and a half I worked in Removals, never once did all the scheduled removals show up for departure. Those that didn’t show, were issued a  Deportation Order, and they were to be detained and delivered to Immigration to be deported forthwith by any law  enforcement agency they came in contact with. This almost  never happened. They just disappeared.

When I made an inquiry as to what the department was doing about this, I was told the official response was that the claimant must have made their own arrangements to leave. This was a cover-up and demonstrates the sloppiness in  government policy and the willingness of government to  tolerate fraud.

A  shocking fact is that the government keeps a running total  of “NO SHOWS”  for five years only. For example,  when I checked the figures for 1998, I found there were over 100,000 “NO SHOWS” for the five years ending in 1998. NO SHOWS are people ordered deported who did not report to be deported. However, when a year passed and the  government published the “NO SHOW” figures for 1999, they added the “NO SHOWS” to the 100,000, but then subtracted the number of “No Shows” for 1993. In other words, the “NO SHOW”  total remained constant and is an outright lie. It is definitely  not a measure of the total illegals residing in Canada at  any given time. This government practice had been going on  long before I worked for the Department and probably long  before even that Act.  The practice probably  continues today. Toronto is a very easy place to hide out  in and we know of many unscrupulous employers that take  advantage, but the government refuses to provide the  resources to root them out.

While “NO SHOWS” provide the bulk of illegals that I’m aware of, there are also illegals who got here on foreign student visas and on  work visas. As far as I know, these numbers are never counted in the “NO SHOWS” list.  The  department just assumes these people leave when their visa  expires.  But that does not happen. For example, we know  that there was a problem with work visas, especially for strippers from Eastern Europe, of which there were many in a  small place like  Niagara Falls.  I can only guess what the figures would be for very large cities like Toronto or Montreal.

It upset Immigration Officers  to no end to know  that the public was being kept in the dark as to how many “NO SHOWS”, “ILLEGAL  WORKERS” and “ILLEGAL VISITORS” were in Canada. Job-seeking Canadians were obviously having to  compete with these “NO SHOWS” and  “ILLEGALS” for work, but the government did very little to  ease the frustrations and suffering of Canadians. In fact,  idiotic politicians in Toronto, Hamilton and Vancouver  declared their cities to be “SANCTUARY CITIES” so  that these illegals could continue to abuse honest  Canadians.  And these politicians actually were proud of  what they had done !!!

Enforcement Officer

My next position was as an Enforcement Officer at the main office in Niagara Falls. The nature of this job  was investigating Immigration violations IN-Land. An Immigration Officer at the Port of Entry (POE) has far more  legal authority than an In-land Officer. Under the  Immigration Act, and Criminal Code as it was at that time,  the RCMP was the agency responsible for laying charges under  the Act.
Immigration would investigate. If we had a case, we would inform the RCMP and  they would lay the charges and make the arrest.

The RCMP was also responsible  for criminal charges at the Port of Entry.  At this time, a new Area Manager had arrived in Ontario South. He was disturbed at  the lack of co-operation between the RCMP and Immigration.  He contacted the RCMP Office in St. Catharines and made  arrangements with the Sargent in charge to form a Unit  exclusively to deal with Immigration Issues. I was seconded  to this Unit that consisted of a lieutenant, two Officers  and myself.

Cases

One day, we got a call from  the Queenston (Ontario)-Lewiston (New York) Port Of Entry  that they had detained an American woman from West Virginia. When we arrived at the POE we discovered that the day before, she had been refused entry at Toronto’s Pearson  Airport. The Senior Immigration Examining Officer  there had discovered that the woman had made a refugee claim in Canada the previous year. She said she  was coming back to Canada to attend a hearing. Immigration officers assumed that if a person makes a  refugee claim here that they will stay here until their  claim is evaluated. However, in questioning the woman, we discovered she was working as a Toll Collector on the thru-way in West Virginia and was going through a messy divorce. She told us  her Pastor had recommended she make a refugee claim in Canada to procure another source of income (welfare) !!  In  other words, she had no intention of becoming a refugee in  Canada. She was looking for extra cash and she had heard through the grapevine that she could easily defraud Canada’s refugee system and provincial Welfare Department in order to get that cash. We warned her about  the fraud she was committing and deported her on the  spot.

As a follow up, I  contacted the Welfare office in Toronto to inform them of  the fraud and requested that all welfare payments cease to  that woman. I was told by the Welfare Office that they couldn’t do that without interviewing the recipient. I  told them that that would not be possible as she was not  allowed to enter Canada. I was told,  “Too bad.  That’s the procedure.” I then contacted the Ministry of Social Services to complain. They told me they would look into it. I never heard back.  I concluded that  the Welfare Office never did anything, that refugee cheats are very aware of this negligence, that refugee cheats had taken advantage of this and that they continue to take  advantage. As far as trying to estimate the cost to the  province, I would need to know what the rate of welfare is, and I don’t.  But I suspect it is large and I’m  pretty sure if the public were aware, there’d be a huge backlash.

One of the main  reasons I eventually left government service was that in all good conscience, I could not tolerate another day of 35% of my  pay going to support these fraudulent government practices.  Political correctness has destroyed my Country.

and makes you reflect on the distress of these people 
fleeing their country at the risk of their lives.
 
Above, a photo showing some people walking to reach the final objective, 
to live in a European country.
Even if this photo is making it around the world, 
only 1% of the people will notice the truth.
In the photo,  there are 7 men and 1 woman. 
Up to this point – nothing special.
But in observing a bit closer, you will notice that the woman has bare feet, 
accompanied by 3 children, and of the 3, she is carrying 2.
There is the problem, none of the men are helping her, 
because in their culture the woman represents nothing. 
She is only good as a slave to the men. 
Do you really believe that these individuals could integrate 
into our societies and countries and respect our customs and traditions????

Nairobi-born Black hates Canada, won’t quit complaining

“To be a black Muslim woman in Toronto is to feel deep isolation, the result of omnipresent systemic anti-black, patriarchal and Islamophobic discrimination… forces that torment me and members of my community… and so two months ago I tweeted, “Plz Allah give me strength not to cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today… Our lives are plagued by institutional and individual anti-black racism that compromises our access to safety, economic freedom, proper health care, food, housing, employment, education and culturally restorative support services. To be black in this city is to fight to survive.” – (emphasis added) – Yusra Khogali, co-founder of “Black Lives Matter Toronto” (1).

That was very kind of Yusra, backing off from killing us and all that, and I must admit that I sometimes feel rather like killing something myself after spending a few minutes reading rabid, anti-White garbage like this in the Toronto “Red” Star. But read it I must, if I am to stay fully aware of the dangers we face, and as White Europeans throughout the world are vilified and prepared for multicultural genocide by the likes of Ms. Khogali.

It is also worth noting that while such language as Ms. Khogali used in her Tweet would carry a very real risk of investigation and the possible laying of “hate” charges if uttered by a White person, members of privileged minorities can apparently say such things and walk away completely unscathed by our massive, publically-funded “human rights” industries.

Perhaps a clue to her astonishing viewpoint of bemused White readers as “racist” and “privileged” can be found in the background information at the foot of her column – “Yusra Khogali, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto, is a community organizer, anti-racism educator and black feminist poet. She is also a graduate student at the University of Toronto pursuing a master’s in Social Justice Education.”

Her Facebook page (2) tells us that “She is a daughter of the sudanese diaspora by ancestry, born in nairobi, but a toronto bred and based black feminist…”, (lack of capitalization in original), and that “Yusra believes in the self determination of black peoples lives globally and all her artistic resistance and activism, education and community organizing is dedicated to die fighting for this.

“For Inquiries about performance requests, you may contact me via email: yusra.ali.k@gmail.com.”

Oh my! Is her being “dedicated to die fighting” conditional upon how many “performance requests” she receives, and how remunerative they are? I can’t help finding the juxtaposition of these two statements rather bizarre…

Her commercial professionalism could perhaps account for her fine turns of phrase, such as “omnipresent systemic anti-black, patriarchal and Islamophobic discrimination”, which certainly leaves very little to the imagination. And in the hands of the police, ordinary firearms suddenly become “violent weaponry”, perhaps a stereotypical insinuation about the police themselves, and of the remarkable ability of firearms to acquire, perhaps through some form of ideological osmosis, the deplorable racial attitudes of those to whom they have been issued.

It would seem that at least one person is not appreciative of Ms. Khogali’s gratuitous representation (FB copy-and-paste today): One Yoruba Kiniun had this to say at 10:19am this morning – “If you are going to speak on our behalf then make sure you’re not retarded. Otherwise you are just making it harder for the people you claim to be an advocate for, while at the same time empowering the devils of this world. And if you’re going to spit some retarded shit, then at least own it instead resorting to Whataboutery 101. Been trying to stave off the glad bigoted hordes since your likkle tweet came out to the light of day. Thanks heffa.” I have no idea what “heffa” means, but the overall message seems clear enough.

Another co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto is one Sandra “Sandy” Hudson, who has very recently achieved fame and glory by finding herself and two alleged accomplices sued by the University of Toronto Students’ Union, regarding the circumstances under which she received no less than $277,508.00 as a severance deal after being employed by them for only 2 1/2 years (3).

Note: The news story describes her as a member of Black Lives Matter Toronto, not as a co-founder, but she is introduced as a co-founder in an interview written by Carolyn Turgeon of Daily Brew posted on April 8th this year (4), and in other places on the internet.

Although this matter is before the courts, and nothing has been proven or disproven as yet, the news item does tell us that despite her managerial position, she claimed 1,975 hours of overtime on April 1, 2015, having never recorded or claimed any overtime up to that point.

According to the claim by the Student’s Union, as reported by the Toronto Sun, “She filed for all the overtime the day after an election was held to choose the next executive committee… The deal was reached on April 16, 2015, and the two defendants who allegedly signed off were both leaving their posts at the end of the month.”

It will be interesting to see how that works out…

Getting back to my own opinions, I have never approved of mixing the races together, as the inborn cultural, religious and biological differences between the races inevitably cause stress and strife, and there can be no winners. This doesn’t do people like me any good, and has at least once driven Ms. Khogali to the point that she needed to appeal to her deity for the strength to not go out and start killing White people.

And as a White European Christian, I find it offensive and unacceptable that “traditional Canadians”, (you know, the people who built this country), are greatly discriminated against, particularly when it comes to government employment. In my post “Ottawa will not move on racist, anti-White hiring practices” (5) posted on August 10th, 2012, I had this to say:

“Legalised anti-White racial discrimination is solidly built into our national fabric, so if Prime Minister Harper thinks he can solve the problem simply by ordering that there be no more race-specific postings for federal job openings, then he mistakes re-arranging the deck chairs for avoiding the iceberg.

“In addition to the legal and constitutional barriers to equality for all, is the leftist, ‘politically correct’ mindset adopted by liberals, unions, religious denominations, and all of the other usual suspects, plus an astonishing culture of ‘entitlement’ which gives unrealistically high expectations to aboriginals and minorities, and can result in violence and property damage if these bloated expectations remain unfulfilled.

“In the meantime, a white person from Newfoundland, whose family history in the New World goes back 400 years or more, must take second place to a recently-arrived third-worlder, whose ancestors have contributed precisely nothing to this country.

“‘Human rights industry’ activists are so deeply entrenched in government personnel departments that the only way to bring a halt to this all-pervasive and viciously anti-White racist discrimination is to pass legislation expressly forbidding it… Anything less than that is a complete waste of time.”

And in “Canada’s racial and cultural problems” (6) posted on Jan. 26th, 2011, I had this to say:

“Minorities are given preference in hiring regardless of qualifications, and are provided with free legal services by ‘human rights’ commissions to whom intent is meaningless and the truth irrelevant. As a union officer, I often saw ‘human rights’ complaints being filed simply as a backup to the grievance procedure.”

As I see it, this can all come together in creating an all-consuming culture of entitlement, accompanied by greed, inefficiency, and juvenile power-tripping on the part of the delighted recipients.

This is a thoroughly unnatural situation, and must be attended to before White anger and resentment spills over into a “market correction” which may well be accompanied by violence and the beginnings of very real “hatred” which could take generations to subside.

Let’s hope our multi-cultural, politically correct politicians back off and “get real” before things become any worse than they are right now…

The pictures of the men in mini skirts above is the modern Dutch male response to the wave of sex assaults and violent assaults afflicting European women. The media would have you believe the violence against women epidemic sweeping Europe isn’t really happening and is being blown out of proportion by “bigoted” right wing Christians. The men above are clearly of the left persuasion. They know what is happening to their sisters and female co-workers, classmates, partners, etc…. Unfortunately these men have been feminized by their culture, media, and education system. Their response is to don mini skirts in an utterly ineffective protest against the aggressive, misogynistic and confident, Muslim culture that is invading their land.

Now the plague that has hit Europe hard this year has come to Canada. I am not surprised as I have been reporting acts of violence committed by Muslims in Canada for some time if I believed those acts are related to the Muslim’s religious and cultural views. I reported on the ten teenaged girls brutally raped by a Muslim supremacist in Montreal. I reported here on Free North America a Christian man who was stabbed by a Muslim gang in Toronto after they expressed offense at an anti-Islamic patch on the victim’s jacket. I noted in all of these sectarian acts of violence the Canadian media was mostly silent, choosing to censor newsworthy happenings, rather than give information that could adversely affect Canadian support for the Liberal’s plan to bring in tens of thousands of poorly screened Syrian refugees.

With the above in mind I was not entirely surprised to get my friend Jim Christian’s e-mail below citing lawlessness at a migrant hotel in New Brunswick. I note homeless Canadians do not get hotels at a cost of over $100 a night, they either have to sleep on the street or go to large cities and sleep in homeless shelters that are dormitory style and offer no privacy. While I was not surprised and I was also concerned about Facebook censoring Jim’s information; I was initially reluctant to forward his e-mail without any corroborating evidence. Now I have a news story from the Halifax Chronicle Herald articulating similar concerns to Jim’s. Sadly, the Halifax Chronicle Herald censored themselves once the story was shown to put Canada’s Muslim newcomers in a negative light. Thankfully the blog Blazing Catfur captured the story before it disappeared and I will share it with you, so you can draw your own conclusions and maybe respond in a more effective manner than the effeminized Dutch to protect your women and way of life.

Over 100 “refugees” have been put up at a local New Brunswick hotel by the Canadian government. This is proving to be extremely unpleasant for workers there.

Word is now coming out that the Moslems are making things very nasty in this place where everything is being provided for them. They are destroying the place. Beds are being continually ruined with urine and feces – as is the carpeting. Everything not nailed down is being stolen. Children are running wild and creating a madhouse environment for everyone there. And, all this courtesy of the Canadian taxpayers. And, yet, they demand more and more.

Also, at a recent Wildcats hockey game at the Moncton Coliseum, dozens of these Moslem “refugees” refused to stand for our national anthem. When attendees were asked, on the PA system, to “welcome” these migrants, they were met with a chorus of boos. I guess Manning had something right with his observation about the “common sense of the common people” – no matter the official propaganda from the government-controlled media.

One last item of note is that women at this game were confronted with groups of these Moslem migrants cornering them and growling suggestively at them. HOW LONG will it be until the epidemic of rape that Europe is experiencing will begin over here in Canada?

Please realize that I actually I love Muslims as much as I hate Islam. So, if they are fleeing countries that Islam has destroyed, let them flee from Islam itself – instead of bringing it to our country.

HALIFAX — Concerned parents are reporting incidents of violence by refugee students at Chebucto Heights Elementary School. Reports of students choking, pushing, slapping and verbally abusing their fellow classmates are causing parents to worry about the school’s disciplinary action.

“There has always been some fighting and bickering going on at the school but never to this degree,” said Missy, the mother of two children who attend Chebucto Heights. She asked to be referred to by her nickname for this story.

Missy said her daughter, who is in Grade 3, was choked on Monday and Thursday last week by two refugee boys. A chain was used on both occasions, but she cannot confirm the size or strength of the chain. She said one boy yelled “Muslims rule the world” while choking her daughter.

School staff intervened, but to her knowledge, the students were not disciplined further. According to the Halifax Regional School Board, refugees began registering at Chebucto Heights, located in the Cowie Hill neighbourhood of Halifax, in mid-February.

School board spokesman Doug Hadley said, as of last week, there are currently 252 refugee students enrolled in the region, with another 71 waiting on settlement of permanent housing.

Missy’s son, who is in Grade 5, has also been the subject of rough play on the soccer field. During games, refugee students reportedly take their thumb and slide it across their neck from left to right while staring into the eyes of their competitor; imitating the slicing of the throat.

Missy said the school’s response to this and other on-field violence was to cancel intramurals and soccer. But cancelling of recreational activity is not beneficial to students like Missy’s son who has ADHD and relies heavily on physical activity.

“Soccer is what gets my son through the day,” she said.

When asked about the violence at Chebucto Heights, Hadley said he couldn’t confirm whether an individual student had been involved in any behaviour that broke the board’s code of conduct.

He said there’s no connection between the cancellation of extracurricular activities and any violent behaviour. “There’s a term teacher at Chebucto Heights that is finished their term in the next week or so, and they just finished the unit on soccer,” he said. Intramurals will resume in May when the next term teacher begins.

Another mother, who asked not to be named, said her daughter was slapped after she and a classmate disagreed in the schoolyard. Her daughter reported the incident to her teacher.

“The school didn’t even call me to let me know.”

She called and left a message, but said no one has returned her call. She said her daughter begs not to go to school because of the persistent bullying.

A language barrier could be a factor. Many refugee families do not speak English and integrating students into a primarily English speaking environment is bound to cause a few problems.

Missy suggests having an interpreter on staff to help new students understand curriculum or the reason for disciplinary action. “I’m all for the transition,” said Missy.

“I just think there should be people in the school to help and guide them.”

The school board says there are currently 19.5 English as a second language teachers working in regional schools. “We have a long history of welcoming newcomers all over the world to Nova Scotia,” said Hadley. He encourages an open stream of communication between the school staff, students and parents.

“It doesn’t matter if the student is new to Canada or if they have been in school for many years in our system,” said Hadley. “Schools would address it no matter who the child is the same way.”

On Monday April 4, 2016, more than 100 Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters rallied at Queens Park. This was a continuation  of a  protest involving BLM members who, starting on March 20  illegally squatted in makeshift tents and set bonfires in front of Toronto Police Headquarters. The squatting began a day after the Ontario Special Investigations Unit (SIU) announced that no charges would be laid against the unidentified officer who fatally shot  a Black man named Andrew Loku in a confrontation with Toronto Police in the summer of 2015.

Mr. Loku reportedly suffered from mental illness.  His death has now become the motive for recent BLM squatting campaigns in Toronto.

BLM claims to be “a call to action,  a response to virulent anti-Black racism and is against the not legally authorized killings of Black people by police and vigilantes.” One of the organizers, Christina Gabriella Griffin, made it clear following their Toronto rally that ” Toronto and other cities need to know that if your police force is committed to an anti-black program, there’s going to be more tent cities. As long as the killing keeps going on, we’re going to be out here.”

But what exactly happened to Mr. Loku is the real question. Was he simply a vulnerable target for “racist” and “anti-Black” police to murder in cold blood, and perhaps something for these officers to laugh about afterwards? Or was this a case of one of our police officers having his or her safety put in immediate danger and resorting to lethal force to avoid potentially losing his own life?

Mike McCormack, who is president of the Toronto Police Association, stated the following:

“On the early evening of July 4, 2015, Toronto police officers saw Mr. Loku riding a three-wheeled scooter on a busy highway in downtown Toronto. Needless to say, this was a dangerous situation for Mr. Loku and motorists. Concerned for his safety and well-being, the officers assisted Mr. Loku by loading his scooter into a police car and driving him home.

“Three hours later, there was an assault-in- progress call to Mr. Loku’s Toronto residence, involving a man armed with a hammer threatening a woman with death and refusing to leave her apartment. Police officers responded where they were met by an agitated and violent Mr. Loku, wielding a hammer.

“The officers attempted to de-escalate the situation and repeatedly asked Mr. Loku to drop his weapon. Mr. Loku’s violent behaviour intensified, and with the hammer raised above his head, he advanced within several feet of the officers. Unable to create distance between themselves and Mr. Loku due to the narrow hallway and stairwell behind them, the officers responded to this imminent threat of serious bodily harm or death, by using force.”

Perhaps this truly was the case. If so, some may consider the circumstances justified the shooting of Mr. Loku. Or perhaps there are some major aspects of the story which are missing. In either case, what really happened does not seem to really matter to those who are part of BLM . In other words, are the BLM protestors simply looking for incidents like Mr. Loku’s death in order to label any police officer’s shootings of Black people as “racist” and “anti-Black”.

Knowing actual facts, of course, would likely give them fewer grounds for tossing names around in their attempts to defame people. One of this group’s biggest arguments is that the police are disproportionately arresting  and carding people of non-White ethnicity. The evidence on the other hand very strongly suggests that the police simply arrest people who commit crimes, and people of non-White ethnicities appear to commit crimes at higher rates. Many crimes have witnesses. For example, in cases of robberies and rapes, the victim usually gets a good look at the perpetrator. And if 70% of people who are victims tell the police the assailant was black and 70% of the people arrested for robberies and rapes are back, the police are probably just doing their job.

Although crime statistics on the basis of ethnicity are allegedly not collected by any major government department in Canada, this graph from the U.S. (where the BLM movement originated) looks at 22 types of offenses. In the graph, there are two lines for each offense. The left line for each offense indicates the race of the person whom a witness alleges had committed the crime. The right line for each offense indicates the race of the person who was actually arrested.  For example, the most frequent offense is robbery. Witnesses said that more than 70% of robbers were Black. However, as you can see from the shorter lighter line to the right, fewer than 60% of those arrested for robbery were Black. Similarities can be seen in Assault Offenses, Kidnapping/Abduction and in Sex Offenses. In each offense category, in spite of witnesses identifying offenders as Black (or Asian, Hispanic or White), police arrested fewer Blacks than what witnesses told them were Black offenders. In other words, in 15 of the 22 offense categories, witnesses identified Blacks as the offenders, but police arrested fewer Blacks. This may indicate that police may have given Blacks a break by probing witness statements more carefully than otherwise and finding evidence which contradicted witnesses’ accounts.

In some cases, slightly more Blacks are arrested than you would expect from witness reports. However, when you add up the offenses from all categories, the Black arrest rate is actually 14% lower than the percentage reported by witnesses. This data is from more than 6,000 different police departments.

Take a look at this graph from New York City where Blacks are a minority making up around 30% of the population.

This New York City graph shows the rate at which people of different races are arrested for different crimes. For Murder, the White arrest rate is about 1. In contrast, the Black arrest rate is 30.9, a huge difference that cannot be easily dismissed as prejudicial against Blacks.  Even starker than the arrest rate for murder is the arrest rate for shootings. For shootings, the arrest rate is 98.4% for Blacks and 1% for Whites. Again, the difference in the rate is so great that even movements like Black Lives Matter will have extreme difficulty in attributing the difference to such phenomena as racial profiling.

As you will notice, in each crime category, Blacks commit more crime than Hispanics and Hispanics commit more crime than Asians. For the Black Lives Matter movement, this must mean the NYPD loves Whites and Asians. Right?

Let’s face it. The police arrest criminals. In the case of the U.S., if they arrest more Blacks than they do Whites and Asians, it is simply because Blacks commit more crime.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Andy Guo, an 18-year-old Chinese immigrant, loves driving his red Lamborghini Huracán. He does not love having to share the car with his twin brother, Anky.

“There’s a lot of conflict,” Mr. Guo said, as a crowd of admirers gazed at the vehicle and its vanity license plate, “CTGRY 5,” short for the most catastrophic type of hurricane.

The 360,000-Canadian-dollar car was a gift last year from their father, who travels back and forth between Vancouver and China’s northern Shanxi Province and made his fortune in coal, said Mr. Guo, an economics major at the University of British Columbia.

The car is more fashion than function. “I have a backpack, textbooks and laundry, but I can’t fit everything inside,” he lamented. And that is not the worst of it. “A cop once pulled me over just to look at the car,” he said.

China’s rapid economic rise has turned peasants into billionaires. Many wealthy Chinese are increasingly eager to stow their families, and their riches, in the West, where rule of law, clean air and good schools offer peace of mind, especially for those looking to escape scrutiny from the Communist Party and an anti-corruption campaign that has sent hundreds of the rich and powerful to jail.

With its relatively weak currency and welcoming immigration policies, Canada has become a top destination for China’s 1 percenters. According to government figures, from 2005 to 2012, at least 37,000 Chinese millionaires took advantage of a now-defunct immigrant investor program to become permanent residents of British Columbia, the province that includes Vancouver.
The metropolitan area of 2.3 million is home to increasing numbers of ethnic-Chinese residents, who made up more than 18 percent of the population in 2011, up from less than 7 percent in 1981, according to government figures.

Many residents say the flood of Chinese capital has caused an affordable housing crisis. Vancouver is the most expensive city in Canada to buy a home, according to a 2016 survey by the consulting firm Demographia. The average price of a detached house in greater Vancouver more than doubled from 2005 to 2015, to about 1.6 million Canadian dollars ($1.2 million), according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

Residents angry about the rise of rich foreign real estate buyers and absentee owners, particularly from China, have begun protests on social media, including a #DontHave1Million Twitter campaign. The provincial government agreed this year to begin tracking foreign ownership of real estate in response to demands from local politicians.

The anger has had little effect on the gilded lives of Vancouver’s wealthy Chinese. Indeed, to the newcomers for whom money is no object, the next purchase after a house is usually a car, and then a few more.

A large number of luxury car dealerships here employ Chinese staff, a testament to the spending power of the city’s newest residents. In 2015, there were 2,500 cars worth more than $150,000 registered in metropolitan Vancouver, up from 1,300 in 2009, according to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.

Many of Vancouver’s young supercar owners are known as fuerdai, a Mandarin expression, akin to trust-fund kids, that means “rich second generation.” In China, where the superrich are widely criticized as being corrupt and materialistic, the term provokes a mix of scorn and envy.

The fuerdai have brought their passion for extravagance to Vancouver. White Lamborghinis are popular among young Chinese women; the men often turn in their leased supercars after a few months for a newer, cooler status symbol.

Hundreds of young Chinese immigrants, along with a handful of Canadian-born Chinese, have started supercar clubs whose members come together to drive, modify and photograph their flashy vehicles, providing alluring eye candy for their followers on social media.

The Vancouver Dynamic Auto Club has 440 members, 90 percent of whom are from China, said the group’s 27-year-old founder, David Dai. To join, a member must have a car that costs over 100,000 Canadian dollars, or about $77,000. “They don’t work,” Mr. Dai said of Vancouver’s fuerdai. “They just spend their parents’ money.”

Occasionally, the need for speed hits a roadblock. In 2011, the police impounded a squadron of 13 Lamborghinis, Maseratis and other luxury cars, worth $2 million, for racing on a metropolitan Vancouver highway at 125 miles per hour. The drivers were members of a Chinese supercar club, and none were older than 21, according to news reports at the time.

On a recent evening, an overwhelmingly Chinese crowd of young adults had gathered at an invitation-only Rolls-Royce event to see a new black-and-red Dawn convertible, base price $402,000. It is the only such car in North America.

Among the curious was Jin Qiao, 20, a baby-faced art student who moved to Vancouver from Beijing six years ago with his mother. During the week, Mr. Jin drives one of two Mercedes-Benz S.U.V.s, which he said were better suited for the rigors of daily life.

But his most prized possession is a $600,000 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Galaxy, its exterior custom wrapped to resemble outer space. Mr. Jin, a lanky design major who favors Fendi clothing and gold sneakers, extolled the virtues of exotic cars and was quick to dismiss those who criticized supercar aficionados as ostentatious. “There are so many rich people in Vancouver, so what’s the point of showing off?” he said.

Asked what his parents did for a living, Mr. Jin said his father was a successful businessman back in China but declined to provide details. “I can’t say,” he stammered with evident discomfort.

Because of high import and luxury taxes in China, supercars are often 50 percent cheaper in Canada. And in Canada, Chinese immigrants said, people are far less likely to question how they obtained their wealth.

“In Vancouver, there are lots of kids of corrupt Chinese officials,” said Shi Yi, 27, the owner of Luxury Motor, a car dealership that caters to affluent Chinese. “Here, they can flaunt their money.”

Some Chinese immigrants think a supercar is a poor investment, because its value decreases over time. “Better to spend half a million dollars on two expensive watches or some diamonds,” said Diana Wang, 23, a University of British Columbia graduate student who said she owned more than 30 Chanel bags and a $200,000 diamond-encrusted Richard Mille watch.

Ms. Wang, a star on the online reality show “Ultra Rich Asian Girls of Vancouver,” normally drives her parents’ Ferrari or Mercedes-Maybach when she visits them in Shanghai. But in Canada, her parents gave her a strict car budget of 150,000 Canadian dollars ($115,000), so she drives the less-flashy Audi RS5.

“I could be in danger if people saw me in a supercar,” she said, her Breguet watch, worth more than a BMW, glinting in the sunlight as she drove the Audi through town.

Four years ago, to learn the value of money after her friends criticized her spending habits, Ms. Wang spent three days on the streets of Vancouver, playing homeless. She said she had left her mansion with no phone, identification or wallet, wearing Victoria’s Secret pajamas and $1,000 Chanel shoes.

While in voluntary poverty, she lined up for donated food and felt the sting of humiliation after she was kicked out of a Tim Horton’s fast-food restaurant for falling asleep at a table. The experiment, she said, gave her a new appreciation for her parents’ financial support.

“Before that experience, I never looked at a price tag,” she said. “Now I do.”

A Letter to MPs About the Bad Effects of Admitting Immigrants Who Do Not Share OUR Values

Dear Honorable Members of Parliament

I am drawing your attention to this very important video in which you will hear a presentation from Paul Weston, March 3, 2016.

If we listen carefully to the demographic figures stated in this video and given the fact that the immigrants referred to have many more children than we do as well as the fact that they are allowed four wives, it is potentially a life and death situation for us.

 

We also need to consider that they do not share our values, our culture; our way of life; have no intention of adapting and many have stated that their intention is to conquer the west.  These reasons should make us take notice that bringing them into our country is totally unrealistic.

 

If Canadians wish to help these people they should be resettled in their area of the world at which time financial help can be sent much easier and more economically than transporting thousands of people here.

 

Add to this the fact that Sweden which has shown great generosity to immigrants over the years is now considered a “lost” country.  Germany too, has reported many assaults and rapes of women and children and everyone appears to be afraid to address the real issues for fear of being called racist.  Is it not time that we prevent this type of situation happening in Canada by putting an immediate stop to this “refugee and asylum seeker” immigration?

What we need to address is those who are causing the problems.

I would appreciate a response from you at your earliest convenience to indicate what you are prepared to do to prevent future problems in Canada which European nations are now experiencing as a result of this immigration policy.
